Ingredients:
For the filling
- 1/2 cup pistachios
- 1/2 cup walnuts or pecans
- 1/2 cup blanched almonds
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- A pinch of ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
For the cake
- 1 1/2 cups Just About Foods Organic All-Purpose Gluten Free Flour
- 1/2 cup Just About Foods Almond Flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup butter, room temperature
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 5 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
For the syrup
- 1/2 cup water
- 4 tablespoons honey
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoon rosewater or orange extract (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spray a 9” Bundt cake pan with cooking spray and prepare a baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper.
Arrange all the nuts for the filling on the baking sheet and toast them for 5 to 8 minutes until slightly golden and aromatic. Remove it from the oven and let them cool.
