Ingredients
For the cake batter
- 3 pieces – egg
- 150 g (¾ cup) – sugar
- 120 g (1 ½ cup) – Just About Foods All Purpose Flour
- (1 cup) – cocoa powder
- 236 g (1 cup) – water
- 1 tbsp – vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp – baking powder
- 1 pinch – salt
For the ganache
- 120 g – heavy cream
- 120 g – dark chocolate
- 100 g – blueberries (for topping)
- *Extra – sliced almonds to sprinkle
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350ºF (180ºC).
- Separate the eggs and beat the whites until peaks are formed; reserve shortly.
- Beat sugar and yolks at high speed.
- Turn the speed to low and add in your Just About Foods Organic All Purpose Flour and cocoa, mix just until combined.
- Slowly add in the water and oil until combined.
- Softly incorporate the beaten egg whites, baking powder, and salt.
- Bake for about 20-25 minutes (keep a close eye, though) in a previously greased and floured bundt mold.
- Let it cool before taking it out of the mold.
- Now, for the ganache, heat your cream and pour it over your chopped chocolate.
- Emulsify using a whisk, until the chocolate has melted and you get a silky ganache.
- Pour over your cooled cake, top with blueberries, serve and enjoy!
