  • 2 ½ cups Just About Foods Organic All-Purpose Gluten Free Flour Blend, plus more for sprinkling
  • ½ tsp Just About Foods Organic Xanthan Gum
  • 1 ½ tsp sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 ½ tsp milk powder
  • 1 tbsp instant dry yeast
  • ¾ cups warm milk
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup of butter, room temperature
  • 1 extra egg, beaten
  • 3 tsp sesame seeds
  • Your favorite burger patties and burger toppings

In a small bowl, combine ½ teaspoon of sugar, instant dry yeast, and warm milk, stir to dissolve, and set aside until foamy.

Add Organic All-Purpose Gluten Free Flour Blend, Xanthan Gum, one teaspoon of sugar, salt, and milk powder in a different mixing bowl, and whisk to eliminate any lumps.

In the stand mixer with the paddle attachment, combine the milk mixture and the eggs with the dry ingredients; when the dough is formed, add the room-temperature butter, and mix until well combined.

Cover the dough with plastic film and let it proof for 30-45 minutes.

Preheat oven to 400°C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.

Sprinkle some flour over a clean surface and divide the dough into six parts. The dough should be sticky. Wet your hands, form the buns, and place them over the baking tray, leaving space between them.

Brush the buns with the beaten egg, sprinkle each bun with ½ teaspoon of sesame seeds, and bake for 20-30 minutes or until golden brown.

Let the buns cool completely on a cooking rack before preparing them. Slice them in half and prepare them with your favorite fillings. Enjoy!
