Mushroom Skull Pizza

Ingredients. 

  • 240g – Just About Foods Pizza Crust Cauliflower Flour 
  • 150ml – warm water 
  • 1 tbsp – instant yeast 
  • 1 tbsp – sugar 
  • ½ tsp – salt 
  • 1 tbsp – olive oil 

For the pizza toppings. 

  • 300g – tomato sauce 
  • 1 package – mushrooms 
  • 100g – mozzarella cheese (shredded) 

Instructions. 

  • Start by activating the yeast in the warm water and add the sugar in as well, mix and let it ferment for 10 minutes. 
  • Now, prepare the dough by mixing flour, xanthan gum, salt, olive oil and the activated yeast, knead until a smooth dough forms. Cover with film and let it rest for 20 minutes more. 
  • Preheat the oven to 400° and prepare a round pizza baking dish. 
  • Once the dough is rested, roll out to a circle that covers your baking dish. 
  • Spread the tomato sauce all over and the shredded cheese. 
  • Cut mushrooms in half lengthways, make two holes using a straw for the “eyes” of the skull and cut lines in the stem to make the “teeth”. Place all over the pizza surface and bake for 30-40 minutes, depending on your oven. 
  • Cut in 8 equal portions, serve immediately and enjoy!
