Ingredients.

  • 1 ½ cups – Just About Foods All Purpose Flour
  • ½ tsp – baking soda
  • ½ tsp – baking powder
  • ½ cup – sugar
  • 1 piece – egg
  • 1 tsp – vanilla
  • 115g – unsalted butter (room temp)
  • 24 pieces – chocolate candy balls (half of them small and half of them big)
  • 50g – chocolate (melted)

Instructions.

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, cream together butter, peanut butter, vanilla and sugar until light and fluffy, add in the egg and mix to integrate.
  • Place flour, baking soda and baking powder and fold just until combined.
  • Scoop equal portions of dough to the prepared baking sheets and bake for about 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and the center is cooked. Allow to cool completely before decorating.
  • Once your cookies are cool, place the melted chocolate in a piping bag or a ziplock bag, and cut the tip very tiny to make fine lines. Place a tiny dot of melted chocolate in each of the chocolate candy balls to stick to the cookie. Use the small one for the head and the large one for the body.
  • Finally, draw 8 lines coming out of the body to make the spider legs and pipe two dots in the head to make the eyes. Allow the chocolate to set and serve.
  • Enjoy!
